2015 Triple Crown Winner - American Pharoah

Post Kentucky Derby, Pre Preakness May 16th comment:

"American Pharoah, Baffert, 5 straight wins vs G1 (4), G2 (1) horses by a combined 23 1/4 lengths, lone defeat 5th in maiden at Del Mar.

Mostly a front runner, off a wide #14 post Espinoza had to pace the leader to come from the far outside taking Dortmund, Firing Line and the roses.

Should repeat and could be the first triple crown winner since Affirmed in 1978."

Post Preakness comment May 17th:

"The slop killed Dortmund and Firing Line, however, on a sloppy track, American Pharoah ran the opening 3/4 mile of the Preakness in 1:11.42 - faster than Affirmed in 1978 (1:11.8 on a fast track).

I am replacing "could" with "will" and locking in American Pharoah to win the Triple Crown."

Copy that, on the money, as American Pharoah took the Belmont Stakes and became the first horse to win the Triple Crown since Affirmed in 1978.
