EB-5 Visas, Hillary Clinton and Strawmen
A Naybob of Simian nature emailed me: "Wow man, this just proves that "The Beat
goes On". We were saying this 18 years ago-and all
we got was a pink slip." Hillary Clinton gets paid $300K to explain what ails the middle class.
"During a speech in Silicon Valley, Clinton, the presumed Democratic presidential nominee in 2016, highlighted the displacement many workers have suffered as new technology has made many jobs obsolete. “The old jobs and careers are either gone or unrecognizable,” Clinton said, according to the Los Angeles Times. “The old rules just don’t seem to apply, and, frankly, the new rules just aren’t that clear. “[If] we want to find our balance again, we have to figure out how to make this new economy work for everyone.”
We Nattered Back: "Clueless... [the assertion that technology is responsible for what ails the middle class] Clinton vs Bush II coming soon or should we just call it DUMB and DUMBER III?"
Our Simian Naybob responded with a link to Ticket for a Green Card isn't too pricey for many in China; which examines how many wealthy Chinese through substantial capital investment in the U.S., are becoming permanent U.S. residents via the federal EB-5 visa program. One green card recipient had just purchased a $1.9 million home near Seattle, and commented “I like the weather here. In South China we say rain is fortune. Rain is money.”
Our Simian Nattered: ""I like the weather here"... Somebody should ask Hillary why it's not a working American from the Plywood and Flooring Industry that's not buying this house...... Oh, that's right, the Liberal media networks will expunge from the records any questioning or suggestion that doesn't glorify Hillary's "public service"...
We Nattered Back: "Whats does clueless Hillary have to do with this article?"
Our Simian Naybob Nattered: "Her new campaign angle is "fixing and fighting for the Middle Class".....this is part of a continuum...."
The Nattering One muses... The Chinese visa article you emailed me had nothing to do with Hillary Clinton. You said: "somebody should ask Hillary why it's not a working American from the Plywood and Flooring Industry that's not buying this house" and then went off "the Liberal media networks will expunge from the records any questioning or suggestion that doesn't glorify Hillary's "public service"...
Yeah, it might be a continuum, of media narrative political dogma, or creating strawmen to argue against things that have not been said, nor are implied. Hillary, the liberal media networks... sounds like the right wing, pinko hunting, militia neighbors, Kane and Whittaker from the 70's cartoon, Wait Till Your Father Gets Home, they're out there, the pinko commies are coming... Sadly enough, Kane and Whittaker are much like modern day Fox or MSNBC viewers who can't extract themselves from parroting the falsity of the media narrative that the party vomits out as pablum for their masses, i.e. programming. You know, they call it "programming" for a reason.
I know all too well of Hillary's campaign to appear as an "economic expert" and "champion for the middle class". They can smear all the lipstick they want on her, that won't change her stripes. As already stated, she is just as clueless as the other "Manchurian Candidates", as none of them would know "middle class" if it landed on them. FYI, we were parroting those clueless media falsities "automation is to blame" 20 years ago because, we simply didn't know any better, as in we were parrots regurgitating the pablum spewed upon us.
If Mrs. Clinton's hacked email fiasco doesn't stop her, the voting public will be foisted with Clinton vs Jeb Bush and Mark Rubio, although we could see Carly Fiorina (Sarah Palin II). With Rubio, the Pachyderms could stab at inclusion of latino's or hispanics; with Fiorina they get the women's vote.
At the end of the day, the dogma matters not, regardless of who wins, we will be the ultimate losers.
