Blame The Indians and Immigrants

Nattering on the Darwinism from IPads For All.... Who cares about the poor and disenfranchised anyway? Unlike homosexuals, immigrants, union members, pension plan contributors, or non-Christians they aren't allowed to (no DL or residence) or don't vote, do they? Moving west...

Two SA readers commented,

"But at least the border is still wide open for more "undocumented" workers to compete with existing workers and get free education, healthcare, driver licenses and of course "in state" university tuition rates that children of out of state US citizens do not qualify for."

"What a great deal mass-scale immigration provides!"

Sorry gotta open a blow off valve, I'm of a mind to make some mookie....

We Nattered

If you want to ascertain motive, always follow the money. Immigrants play the following roles: labor inputs, consumers, tax payers and voters.

Who built this country?

Yes, IMMIGRANTS built this country into its greatness. Were it not for those immigrants, the American Indian might still be hunting the great tatonka on the plains. And yet those immigrants descendants watch passively. Placated by the incantations of demagogues, soothed by uber overpaid gladiators and medicine mans elixir, and hypnotized by strange devices from which images and sounds emanate. When in public places with these devices, they don't even bother talking to one another. Strange indeed.

The Great Divide

Slaves, women, the poor and disenfranchised, homosexuals, union members, pension plan contributors, non-Christians, people of color and immigrants. Over the years, these are "talking point problem groups" the media narrative has attempted to make into scapegoats.

As in "they" are painted by the politically and economically agendized, divisive and polarizing media narrative, to be the problem with morals, budgets, taxation, employment, etc. And if we want to solve "our problems", we need to round the "problem groups" up as part of a "final solution". Enslave, deny women the vote, segregate, lynch mobs, intern, ban gay marriage, stop immigration, build a wall, bust the unions, burn the synagogue, no mosques or kebab joints in my neighborhood, crackers in pointy white masks, etc.

Anyone feeble minded enough to subscribe to this "Mein Kampf" neo con Nazi mentality has had me shaking my head in total disgust since well before 2000 and 9/11. After Japanese internment camps and McCarthyism, I never thought I would be embarrassed by "intelligent Americans" acting like mindless sheep again.

Oh wait, it took 150 years after the end of a war in which 600,000 soldiers who fought to vanquish an enemy of our republic, were killed, wounded, captured or missing, for the flag of the enemy and still a symbol of Aryan racism, to be taken down from the state capital of one of our states, South Carolina. Have I truly under estimated the dumbing down of the general public? or is that quoted above an oxymoron?

This media narrative or pablum for the masses is pure divisiveness which politically polarizes and paralyzes, nothing more, nothing less. The resulting posturing and pontification leads to gridlock by design and maintaining the status quo. And who does that benefit?

Native born Americans?

Above, the ONLY people in America that have ANY right to say "go home immigrant.

The rest of us ARE HERE BECAUSE, the native American lack of a unified nation, their misplaced trust of the paleface, our "lax" immigration standards, and the manifest destiny of those immigrants. So the descendants thereof, better get to work on being smarter and less passive, before its too late and you all wind up working in the only place left, Indian casinos. You savvy, Kemosabe?

We are all in this together, and to borrow from the late Leonard Nimoy substituting in quotes for "television":

Time is the threat, exhaustion and pap the inevitable consequence. Let’s stop treating our "legislative process" like a passing fad.
