2015 NFL Prediction Week 8
After 8 weeks or mid season, we weigh in with our playoff six packs and a bonus:
AFC
Making one change in the AFC, J-E-T-S in place of BUF.
NE - At large and in charge, could go undefeated.
CIN - Waiting for Clueless Lewis to show up and Bungle it again.
DEN - Nice D, but Manning is waning, at home stout, on road average.
IND - Sub .500 playoff team by default, worst division in football.
NYJ - Taking the Bills place, Fitzpatrick QB and sending Son of Buddy to BUF, good moves.
PIT - Hankered by Big Ben going down for 4 weeks, should regain form.
NFC
Standing pat.
GB - Ground game and D compliment NFL's best QB
CAR - If Newton doesn't make mistakes, ground game and D could go undefeated.
ARZ - Inconsistent performances, unrealized potential, could jell late?
DAL - Even with Romo out till Wk 11 - 2-7 sub .500 team can still win the NFC Least
SEA - Chancellor hold out, injuries, two last second losses, Squawks make late run.
STL - Ground and D in place, when the passing game gets going, look out.
Super Bowl L at Levi's Stadium, Santa Clara, CA.
TBD - Probable NE vs GB (although CAR might have something to say about that)
And a bonus, this weeks games, even.... (Bye: BUF, JAX, PHI, WAS)
Team with number is my pick ATS (against the spread)
MIA @ NE -9 Feeble Fish finally face formidable foe, Pats 48-4 at home. Duh.
DET +4 @ KC (London) Sad Motor City Kitties claw Smith led Chefs w/o RB Charles
TB +7.5 @ ATL Bucs bounce back after losing with 24pt road lead, Falcons all O, no D
CIN @ PIT +1 Big Ben returns to action this Sunday, road chalk for clueless Lewis?
NYG @ NO -3 NY team getting 3 on road? Bookies delight, go the other way
NYJ @ OAK +3 NY team giving 3 on road? Bookies delight, go the other way
MIN -1 @ CHI Hapless Cutler, 4-2 Vikes let Petersen run over da Chairs
SF @ STL -8 Gurley Rams romp over Phony Niners - lacking RB Hyde and FS Bethea
ARZ@CLE+6.5 Too much road chalk for Zona, Browns last 2L's and aren't that bad.
SD +3.5@BAL Too much home chalk, both teams last 3L's, Post Pack Bolts bounce back.
TEN @HOU-3.5 Texans no Foster, whose worse QB Mettenberger or Hoyer? Titans last 5L's
SEA-4.5 @ DAL Dez ready? 1.5pts early money on Pokes, last 4L's, Squawks statement.
GB -2.5@ DEN Small chalk, Buncos crawled by marginal teams, which the Packers ain't.
IND @ CAR -6.5 Dolts last 2L's can't run, so Panthers D mauls Luck. This could be ugly.
