Iran Act III? Maybe? Maybe Not? Maybe?

Washington is “hallucinating” if it thinks Iran will scrap its nuclear fuel production plans in return for economic incentives, a senior Iranian official was quoted as saying Sunday.

Israel, which bombed Iraq’s Osirak nuclear reactor in 1981, played down the report. Iran has said it will respond vigorously to any attack on its nuclear plants.

Both Israel and the United States on Sunday rejected a report in London's Sunday Times which claimed that Israel had a plan in place to attack Iran's nuclear reactor and that the US would not block the attack if diplomatic efforts fail to contain Iran's nuclear development.

According to the report in the Sunday Times, Israel had "drawn up plans for a combined air and ground attack on Iranian nuclear installations," and Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's inner cabinet gave "initial authorization" for an attack at a private meeting in February on his private ranch.
