H5N1 Summary Part I - Captain Trips?
Today fatal human H5N1 was confirmed in Indonesia in suburban Jakarta, where H5N1 was also detected in asymptomatic swine.
The Chinese government has not reported any cases of avian influenza in humans in the Guandong region. Our sources indicate there are large inflows of patients in China, including Guandong province, all due to variants of H5N1 bird flu.
The Chinese are refusing to allow the WHO or any agency from taking samples. The Chinese had refused to allow ANY research on samples from suspected H5 victims or even animal samples. Even some scientists inside China were not permitted to study samples or investigate H5 research.
Some unconfirmed reports indicate that not only has there been a H5N1 outbreak, but many of the dead have been symptomatic of Ebola and HIV virus as well.
This is ominous and points to suspicions that the previous SARS outbreak which leaked from the first military medical university in Guangdong Province; was only a part of a recombinent Ebola/Sars/HIV biochemical weapons experiment.
It is quite possible that some Ebola genomes have been recombined with SARS/HIV & H5. This would go along way in explaining the Chinese NOT wanting any samples taken nor releasing any results to outsiders.
Any recombination of Ebola/H5N1/SARS or HIV would necessitate an anti viral agent having already been created prior to release for testing. In other words, if a vaccine does not already exist and/or cannot be produced fast enough, we are in for some major trouble.
