Today, Jon Mark Karr was released as charges in the Jon Benet Ramsey case were dropped. DNA testing showed that the suspect was not present in the Ramsey household.
We suspected this from the get go, but just kept our mouth shut, till now. Karr was facing child sex charges in Thailand, does anyone know what the penalty is in Thailand for child sex crimes? Better yet, ever seen the inside of a Thai jail?
If you were sitting in a Thai jail accused of sex with a minor, you would confess to any high profile crime you could think of in order to get extradited back home. Karr just couldn't claim to be the second gunman on the grassy knoll in Dallas...
Karr is playing the system to escape the Thailand charges, knowing full well that he would not be convicted in Colorado for murder and the worst he would get is posession of child porn in California.
This poster boy for "Uncle Pervy" got a free ride home, a champagne cocktail and could be out early on good behaviour, just in time to move into your neighborhood.
