NFL Wild Card Results #2

This weekend ATS 3-1, SU 3-1. Later this week our Divisional Playoff Analysis.

X NYJ 16@NE(-8.5) 37: Our pick: NE to WIN and cover -8.5

Key: "Pats red zone D a decent 37.5%, Jets offensive red zone efficiency only 38.5%." Today, Jets 0-3 in the red zone on 3 FG's, Pats 50% in the red
zone, 3TD's, 3 FG's.

Key: "Pats rushing for anemic 2.8 ypc, Jets #24 rush D allowing 5.4 ypc. Pats should be able to run, opening up the passing game for Brady and chewing up the clock." Today, Pats net rush 158 vs 70, TOP 33 vs 26 min.

Pats D forced 2 TO's resulting in 10 pts with 3 sacks & 37 yd int TD ret to seal the W. However they allowed 347 net yds, 5.8 yds per play & 4.4 ypc rush.

Another pourous defensive effort next week will result in a loss, as the Bolts unlike the Jets will take full advantage.

The Super Chargers not only can run, they are #1 in TOP and red zone efficiency. We expect a dog fight of epic proportions in Diego.

NYG 20@PHI(-6.5) 23: Our pick: PHI to WIN and cover -6.5

A last second FG pulls the Eagles feathers out of the fire. Held to 138 yds passing, but gaining 185 rushing, and struggling in the red zone 0-2 with 3 FG's.

The #3 pass offenses inability to pass vs the #28 pass D, poor red zone execution and key penalties kept what should have been a comfortable win, very close.

After the Gmen's opening TD drive, the game was 20-6 Eagles, until 1 Eagle pass interference gave 7 pts and 1 illegal block negated a 65 yd punt ret TD, a net 14 pt difference.

"No Eagle mistakes and 1 or 2 Eli Manning ints would seal the deal." The Eagles made no TO's and 1 Manning int turned into a FG for the Eagles, the difference in the game.

Philly's performance at home vs a feeble and wounded opponent was lackluster and uninspired.

A repeat performance next week will result in a humiliating dismissal at the hands of the offensive minded Saints.
