No really? ... U.S. Treasury Secretary Paulson stated today that housing remains the biggest risk to the economy.

As demand for new home furnishings has dried up, bankrupt retailers Levitz Furniture Inc., Wickes Furniture Co. and Bombay Co. are closing dozens of stores.

Boca Raton, Florida-based Sun Capital is a private-equity firm that specializes in leveraged buyouts.

Last month, catalog retailer Lillian Vernon Corp. and Wickes Furniture Co., both closely held Sun Capital units, filed for bankruptcy protection.

A Sun Capital hedge fund was the largest shareholder of gadget retailer Sharper Image Corp., which also filed for bankruptcy in February.

Sun Capital Partners Powermate Corp., the maker of Husky, Durabuilt and BlackMax generators also filed for BK on March 17th.
