Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, & our nation was the most prosperous in the world.
We had no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, a mans wages brought in enough money to support his family and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.
What in the hell happened? Can you spell 'politicians?' Can you say elite ruling class? Can you say government by the corporations and for the rich?
Can you say legalized debt slavery? Can you say rich bankers and corrupt Wall Street influence peddlers?
Can you say little tax blackholes known as the military-industrial complex, the nanny state, the war on drugs, corporate welfare...
and the US as world police... AKA military adventurism or government wars and boondoggles.
Actually, if you're male, in the dominant group, and middle-class or richer, things are always better in any year, than if you're not!
Damn those changes that keep coming, such as imigrants, gays, equality under the law, and people standing up for their rights!
