Scorched Corn and Market Contractions

Over at a financial forum...
Mid August 2015 - Scottmi: French corn – alarmist article, but maybe not such a big deal. CORN and DBA don't...
We Nattered... Not alarmist, spring/summer 2015 most of Europe got scorched and its not over yet. Even with stockpiles at an all time high due to bumper crops 7 of the last 8 years, the farmers will need to import feed grain for their porkers. Corn should rise along with the cost of the porkers.  You get the point.  In a normal market, nice play.
But with the E dollar ready to capitulate in the next 30 days, commercial net swings from long to short in parabolic fashion, Libor rises, this bet by the elephants confirms that the contractionary economic trajectory continues, less petro dollars, dollar rises, its all self reinforcing, and the dollar is going to run through commodities like a raped ape by Dec 2015.  Anything but a normal market coming up.
