Gridlock Nets Status Quo

Over at a financial forum...

St Jean Luc re the gridlock in climate change legislation: "don't these people have children, or grand-children? If we face mass extinction eventually, it won't matter if you are in the top 1% so don't they care if their loved ones suffer?"

Mkucstars1 retorts : "The sky is falling. I get it. So what is it that you want?"

P - "Well what I want is for people to stop voting for people who are destroying the planet.... People like him are literally KILLING the planet and they must be voted out of office – not a complicated wish…"

Mkucstar: "but you can't advocate for crashing the world economy. I asked the question for a reason… Your response spoke volumes. Not all repubs are bad, not all dems are good. It's a f--ked up system and I advocate for change, whichever party it comes from. Sad there is so much hate and fear on both sides, it doesn't lead to anything productive."

The Nattering One muses... Well baby ducks, it doesn't matter who you vote for, as you both refer to the gridlock by design which maintains the status quo.  We have Nattered about this many times, The Founding Father's and American IdealsThe Unholy Trinity: Worshiping False ProfitsPabulum - The Stuff That Dreams Are Made Of , in particular in The Shock Doctrine series and of late in Dispelling Naivete in Socio-Political-Economic Caste Systems 101.

Enjoy this latest dose, not of pessimism, but stark buck naked reality, brought to you by our sponsors, ADM and CONagra - Consolidating The Food Chain, One Farm At A Time.  So that we can feed the world healthy,  wholesome nutritious BS, one plate at a time.

A snipet... "It is a dramatic rouse for public consumption that any "decisions" which are "made" by a central bank or government arm have affect or effect.  All are manned by "selected" bureaucratic figureheads who are merely whores in bed, as in bought and paid for by the their constituencies, the dealers, and other special interests.
Behind closed doors, there is no difference between parties. They are all wealthy lawyers in trust, loyal to none and sworn to their constituencies (special interests). That democratic fantasy is an illusion which is divisive, separatist, polarization for public consumption creating gridlock by design, maintaining the status quo."

I prefer calling the ubiquitous "they", the "paid reps" or the "whores on the hill".  Where does this gridlock by design lead? We Nattered about that in Mr. Big's Plan and The Bond Junkies.

"For lack of providing a traditional "retain and reinvest" strategy, which would be "value creation", our corporate (outsourcing to labor at the margin, eco and tax law avoidance), government (special interest controlled gridlock by design and kick the can deficit budgets) and monetary (serial asset bubbles, benefiting financialism) policies seem to provide for a "value extraction" strategy."

At the end of the day... "we need a new revolution against "representation for the ultra rich without taxation" and "taxation without representation" for everyone else." - Don't Fear The Reaper, Fear The Thing
