The Orlando Massacre Part II
From a Naybob of IT...
Someone commented on the largest mass shooting in US history... "THE LARGEST MASS SHOOTING IN US HISTORY HAPPENED December 29,1890. When 297 Sioux Indians at Wounded Knee Creek on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota were murdered by federal agents & members of the 7th Cavalry who had come to confiscate their firearms “for their own safety and protection”. The slaughter began after the majority of the Sioux had peacefully turned in their firearms. The Calvary began shooting, and managed to wipe out the entire camp. 200 of the 297 victims were women and children.
Wounded Knee was among the first federally backed gun confiscation attempts in United States history. It ended in the senseless murder of 297 people."
We commented... "No doubt Wounded Knee was a one sided massacre. One could also go on about the Mountain Meadow Massacre of 1857 and the 1921 Tulsa Race Riots. The difference is, this was one man, with one gun. Prior to the 20th century, very few mass murders were perpetrated by a single person. Some historical perspective... "
A friend commented... "I don't know what to think anymore."
We suggested: Don't Think, FEEL!!!
Another friend commented... I just stopped thinking altogether ..
We suggested on a collective level that perhaps this is what leads to these kinds of events, as in ... I'm trying to think but nothing happens. It works something like this...
