The Problem With Refugees? and The Gunfighter

Following up on No Sarin In The Air?   After an exchange regarding the air wafting over from Jersey and refugees at a financial forum...

"Should we vet people who seek asylum carefully?  Of course we should but to say this country should turn away all of the tired, poor, huddled masses yearning to breathe free – well then what the F county is this that we're protecting? It's a shameful, selfish nation full of lazy cowards, who would rather feel safe than help their fellow man and your founding fathers would be ASHAMED of what we've become!" - P

Sorry P, but I gotta… Agreed, except before LAZY you omitted, fat and stupid.  Now here comes that omnipresent VOICE from "The Gunfighter"… 

Everybody wants to talk about Syrian refugees or immigrants, like its this passe plat or cause du jour.  Meanwhile, everybody dances around the unknown known sitting in the middle of the room. Quit dancin, get a clue and get real.

The global military industrial complex profits by selling arms used in a war, which our government has been duplicitous in perpetuating. The complex makes the bombs, the arms, sponsors the factions and profits from it. 

Libya and Syria (six years running on both counts) are the latest in a long line that have been victimized by complex sponsors, as Obama (now Trump) and Putin's pissing match for profit.

Remember, without those government sponsored reindeer games, Libya and Syria would not be fucked up, over, and there would be no refugees to jockey about or discuss. Much like "The Gunfighter", end of story.  A kinder gentler machine gun hand, indeed.

  

Comparison to post Weimar Germany is justified, they were just following orders or not paying attention to those unknown knowns? If I were Syrian, the last thing I would want to see is an American or Russian. Much like Pilate, someones hands may be washed "clean", but their finger prints are all over the murder weapons.

The collective conscience should be seething with guilt for standing by and letting this kind of heinous genocidal crap happen.  Those who are subjectively chosen to be demonized, never set out to destroy the world, people did. 

Never forget, people let this happen and then they have the nerve to ignorantly bitch about the consequences.  Too bad that omnipresent VOICE isn't around to put an end to it.

As for "The Gunfighter" - McLovin it, especially Sally The Itchy Whore. BTW P, when I pitched with the Hoboken Zephyr's, even those guys could not stand the smell of Jersey. 

Now, to shut the VOICE in my head up, I feel the need for an adult beverage now. Hard Apple Cider and Sour Mash Bourbon sounds about right.
