New Law For The Hoo Ha?

Are the "public will", legislators and state interest, important enough to "trump" the birthing decision of a woman who has been raped?
“It’s basically a forced pregnancy bill [Alabama]. It’s a health care ban bill.” - Dr. Krystal Redman
Once again, not to be mistaken for Tuesday's With Morrie, it's Tuesdays With Trump...

Following up on A Foray Into Ignorance? Regardless of your political leanings, whether you're blue, red, or just fed up with politicians, the MSM and their BS...

The only exception to the Alabama ban being if the mother's health is at risk or to prevent a serious risk of the substantial and irreversible impairment of a major bodily function.”

There is no provision for rape and/or incest, or discovery of a devastating fetal anomaly, as exceptions to the ban.

In the case of the economically disadvantaged, there is no provision for who is going to pay for the necessary medical care, and expenses to raise the child.

In a not so different vein, we Nattered long ago...
You need a license to perform certain professional services and certain recreational endeavor i.e. drive, fish, hunt, etc. In addition, you must have some educational accreditation or at least pass a test to obtain most licenses. No license, training or test is required for procreation and rearing of progeny.
Those who have children should pay a child tax, those who don't should get a credit. Instead, its the other way around. But, since it is in societies interest to make sure that all children get an education, in for a penny, in for a pound.
Its a double whammy... I have to contribute money for someone else's choice and the contribution gets further fiscal abuse in the system itself. Apparently I am not the only individual who is pissed off at the end product in this system. - Stupid Is As Stupid Does
To repeat, for breeding purposes viz. procreation, no license, permit, preparation or consideration for parental suitability or economic ability is required.  Getting back on track...

Again, are the "public will", legislators and state interest, important enough to "trump" the birthing decision of a woman who has been raped?  IMHO, Hell to the No.
As for the recent passing of the Alabama law, not surprisingly some expressed this thought...

In a 2016 Presidential debate with Hillary Clinton, POTUS 45 commented on overturning Roe v Wade....
"If we put another two or perhaps three justices on, that will happen. And that will happen automatically, in my opinion, because I am putting pro-life justices on the court."
Just what might result from POTUS 45's comments and subsequent Supreme Court appointments of Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh?

More to come in Fundamentalist Fetal Fray? Stay tuned, no flippin.
