Mon, another ugly split tape day on lower volume with terrible internals, DJIA +21. DJUA, XOI UP. DJTA, NDX, SOX, MID & RUT DOWN.
Yesterday, energy, utility & commodity issues to the upside, everything else punked. Crude +2% $68.75, Natural Gas +2%, Gold +1.5%, Silver +4%, Copper & Platinum +2.5%.
Today, 3rd day down the steps, a bloodbath on higher volume with hideous internals, DJIA -51. This week DJIA -30, since 09/23/05 DJIA +400.
Indexes UP: None. DOWN: all majors got punked.
Sectors UP: None. DOWN: Everybody got punked. Biotech went negative for 06.
Overseas: DAX, CAC, FTSE, Hang Seng & Nikkei 225 all punked.
Dollar DOWN vs. Euro 1.2138 & UP vs. Yen 118.29, XAU & gold DOWN @ 599, XOI DOWN & crude UP @ 68.98, CRB commodities index UP @ 340.47. Nickel +3.5%, Gasoline +2.25%, Aluminum +1.25%.
