I can't remember the last time I saw 11 road teams win. Big A+ for Steelers, Falcons, Ravens, Bears & Chargers. Big F- for Panthers, Bucs, Broncos, Packers & Raiders.
MIA 17 @ PIT 28- 2nd string QB Charlie Batch starts, Steelers still on top of their game, 143 rush yds & 4 sacks. MIA 3 TO's, TOP 24:33 & 38 rush yds, Daunte who??
PHI 24 @ HOU 10 - McNabb and Westbrook are healthy, a strong showing with 5 sacks. Reserve judgement until a worthy opponent appears. Texans = hopeless.
SEA 9 @ DET 6 - A defensive struggle, either the Lions got way better or the Squaks got way worse. A little of both, reserve judgement. DET 38 rush yds. SEA allowed 5 sacks, miss Hutch much?
NO 19 @ CLE 14 - NO dominated with 150 rush yds & 5 sacks. CLE = goin nowhere.
ATL 20 @ CAR 6 - CAR: Allowed 4 sacks, 3 fumbles, gained 65 rush yds. ATL missed 2 FG's; TOP 36:33; 22 pass att; 252 rush yds. Watch Falcons with a weak schedule.
NYJ 23 @ TEN 16 - A battle of last place teams & #1 pick contenders. Hapless Tuxedos gave up 3 INT's.
BAL 27 @ TB 0 - An absolute ass whipping. Bucs: 8 1st downs; 26 rush yds; 3 ints. Watch out for the Ravens now that they have QB McNair.
DEN 10 @ STL 18 - Rams 6 FG's & 4 sacks. DEN 161 rush yds; 5 TO's (most since 2000). The Rams aren't this good, and the Buncos had a hiccup.
BUF 17 @ NE 19 - NE dominates with 183 rush yds, yet 2 TO's make it seem close.
CIN 23 @ KC 10 - Chefs outgain and outpossess Ben-gals, makeshift O-line allowed 7 sacks & 3 TO's. Ben-gals are not this good.
DAL 17 @ JAX 24 - Pokes hit crossbar on FG; 3 int's & 9 flags 4 93 yds killed em. Jags steady as she goes, stiffer test next week vs Steelers.
CHI 26 @ GB 0 - A smothering, 3 TO's spelled doom against Da Bears D. Packers in the #1 pick race.
SF 27 @ ARZ 34 - Almost 800 yds of offense in an airshow of teams that have no D. 2 SF fumbles and TOP killed the Phony Niners.
IND 26 @ NYG 21 - Colts 55 rush yds, gonna need help if this continues. Gmen 186 rush yds, but 10 flags & Jimmy Hoffa's ghost killed em.
