2014 World Cup - Semi Finals
Teams Advancing By Association:

"We still see three of our final four arriving with Germany vs Brazil and Argentina vs Netherlands (replacing Italy).
We aspire to the Dutch fortitude and believe that if the FIFA "fix" is not on, in the end, the Orange will avenge their 1-0 fleecing in the 2010 Final to Spain."
In the quarterfinals - All favorites were victorious. The results were 2-1; 1-0; 1-0; 0-0. Like the Round of 16, no team scored more than 2 goals in any game and no game had more than 3 goals scored.
With the exception of Colombia's penalty kick, all winning sides shut out their opponents. Germany 13', Brazil 7' and Argentina 8' all struck from the pitch within 14 minutes...
The flying Dutchmen never did, but then again, they were facing the best defense that remained in this tournament.
On to the predictions...
Germany vs Brazil - Germany GA 3 GF 10; Brazil GA 4 GF 10.
"Brazil advance to face Germany in what we fear will be this Cups 3rd officiating debacle involving Brazil."
Brazil face Germany without their defensive leader & team captain Silva (bookings), in addition to offensive leader and poster boy Neymar (fractured vertebrae).
With both of these key players in the lineup, Brazil was going to have a tough time getting past the Germans. Without either, we just can't see it, unless of course.... the FIX is IN.
Since Brazil are short their one trick pony (Neymar), they have nothing to lose, expect them to be wide open while the Germans counter attack and control mid-field.
Both back lines can be had, and with the offensive capabilities both squads possess, you may see the 3 goal barrier cracked in this game.
We see a game with shades of Germany's opening match vs Portugal, without defensive leader Thiago Silva....
I can see the Brazilian backline dancing to Beethoven's 5th symphony and it might not be a happy ending for host nation.
Argentina vs The Netherlands - Argentina GA 3 GF 8; Netherlands GA 4 GF 12.
A Clockwork Orange have allowed only 2 goals from the field (and 2 by penalty), Messi might get one, as Dutch ball possession, counters and hard challenges will break his rhythm just enough.
"Belgium will not expose the weak Argentine backline. " And they didn't, but the relentless Dutch attack will.
The Argentine defense had a hard time with the inept Belgians, and will have its hands full with Kuyt, VanPersie, Sneijder and the man that will run them ragged, Arjen Robben.
After facing the best defense that remained (Costa Rica), the soft Argentine backline will be just what the Dutch ordered.
Los Gauchos have only beaten the Orange once, in the rigged 78 final. Will the FIX be IN again this time?
