Trickle Down Disgrace?

It's the time of year when many end up thinking of all things scary like ghosts, ghouls, goblins, and things that go bump in the night.

Sadly, these days, things being what they are, there are much more terrifying, horrific and scary things to be afraid of in the here and now.

On that note, rather than be limited to our regular Tuesday's With Trump, not to be confused for Tuesday's With Morrie, we dedicate this week to those things which unfortunately, cannot be limited to the imagination.

We offer you now a macabre little item called... Trickle Down Disgrace?

With capital having free flow across the globe, do those in control, have reason to stay tied to political systems (democracy) or populations, which value working people and do not tolerate extractive corporate capitalism? viz. value extraction strategy as opposed to value added, aka corporate cannibalism.

Stepping on the rule of law, threatening political stability and the economic future of the US?  Shifting tax burden to mid-lower quintiles? Gutting education, job training and healthcare?  Many worthy questions abound and related Nattering can be found in Trump and Brasil? and The President's Analyst?

In any event, any attempt to tear down the foundation of our country's #1 resource, the world's #1 desirable, safe, predictable place, under rule of humane law, to do business, live and prosper is unacceptable.

At the end of the day, rich Americans know they don't need a tax cut. They also know trickle down economics is nonsense based in false doctrine viz. voodoo bullshit. The only thing that trickles down is a warm shower, where those way up there in that lofty perch, are taking a leak on everybody else.

And now this video from another Billionaire, Tom Steyer, who appears to be saying all the right things?

Don't give rich folks like me a tax cut. I don't need a raise. But American families do.

Serious investors care much more about long term growth than quick fixes to the tax code. Tax cuts for the rich are stupid, selfish and dangerously unbalanced.
Sounds reasonable and realistic. What does this Billionaire think about Billionaire Trump's Tax Cuts in one word? It's not tax reform, check our title for a clue.
