2018 NFL Week 11 Playoff Predictions
Excerpts from our Week 1 installment with opening Super Bowl odds...
Of late, less teams repeating [playoff appearances]... Seven year average = 6.71 repeat [playoff] offenders... excepting NE, can we expect any of the conference title or SB teams to repeat?
AFC
EAST: No surprises in the LEAST...150-1 Mahi-Mahi, Yets and Bison being as inconsistent and poorly run, as the 7-1 Pats are well run, and thus consistent division winners with good seeding.
NORTH: 12-1 Riveters to repeat... 40-1 Flacco led Raven resurgence or another miserable finish outside?
SOUTH: Elementary my dear Watson, weak schedule plus health = 25-1 Texan surprise. No surprise, tougher schedule and less luck bogs down both 20-1 Shags and 50-1 Titans.
WEST: Four straight for 33-1 Chefs, QB upgrade Mahomes improves D. Healthy 20-1 Bolts don't lose close games or start 0-6.
NFC
EAST: 10-1 Eagles add DE Bennett, tougher schedule, Foles starts with weekly target on their back. With weak schedule, healthy one trick pony 33-1 Pokes could surprise.
NORTH: With tougher schedule 10-1 Norsemen... add a real QB in Cousins? Watch out. With easier schedule Mr. Rodgers tries to put a 14-1 Pack on his back. 50-1 Chitown Chairs and 66-1 Motor City Kitties disappoint faithful masochists again.
SOUTH: Solidly balanced 20-1 Birds of Prey repeat again, with tougher schedule 16-1 Big Easy might not Brees in, while unimaginative coaching hurts 40-1 Pants.
WEST: Tough schedule and sophomore blues bite as 10-1 Rams try to butt and Suh others. Easy schedule could Jimmie Niners in, after last years finish at 33-1 they aren't sneaking up on anyone.

NFC: MIN, LAR, ATL, PHI, GB, SF
In our Week 5 installment we had doubts about some of our picks....
SELLING: MIA, SD, PIT, HOU, GB, DAL, SF.... Plethora of reasons to stick a fork in these one dimensional teams.
BUYING: KC, JAX, TEN, LAR - Mahomes Chefs are AFC Title game ready. Shags and Titans have the D. Rams have the O and the MO, D? TBD.

The Nattering One muses... in week 5 with regard to PIT, HOU, SD, JAX, TEN and ATL what the hell were we thinking?
Post Week 10, eight of our Week 1 and eight of our Week 5 twelve pack's look to be on schedule in playoff form. Just shows to go ya, don't waffle, overthink and flip flop. Moving West...
In the AFC, the Chefs, Minutemen, No Bell Prize Rosy Riveters, Tex-Watt-Sons and Bolts all look solid. As for the Flac-co Birds, if Jackson sparks as a starter, they could make the playoffs. Otherwise, the Tuxedos are in, don't walk on the Gals side of the street, and don't order the Fish.
In the NFC, the Gurley Ewes, Hotter Than Hell Pietists, Norsemen Cousins, Pant-hers (Cats in The Cradle) and Mack Daddy Paddingtons all look good to go. As for the Cheese Wentzle's, the Hangover applies, the Smith Skins suffer overexposure, and it looks like a Poke Salad Surprise.
In addition, winning less than four games after eight played (3-4-1), Mr Rodger's Pack have never made the playoffs. The season went down on the Phony 9ers along with Kiara Mia and Jimmy G's ACL, not necessarily in that order.
