The Perfect Storm?

Following up on Meddling With Powers?

Where's your sign? Anyone remember March 6, 2009 when the SP500 hit 666?

In case anyone noticed, last Tuesday December 11th, GE hit $6.66. Magic number?

When a REAL company, that actually produces useful items and profits on a global basis, like GE hits that price, and a venture, which has all the earmarks of a glorified confidence game...

(practicing the arts of self dealing, concealment and misrepresentations, wrought with potential: stock price manipulation, embezzlement, theft, fraud and conspiracy to violate federal securities laws)...

like TSLA which had NEVER turned a profit until Q3 (without cooking the books?) is $367 ???

To put this in black and white perspective, Q3 2018:

TSLA booked $6.8B revenue for a FIRST EVER profit of $312M, with $881M free cash flow.

GE booked a non cash goodwill impairment "charge" of $22B for their Alstrom power business acquisition.

GE booked $29.6B revenue with $9.1B cash, $61.7B cash and equivalents, adjusted free cash flow from industrials alone was $1.1B - all excluding the Baker Hughes division.

Bottom line, as the cost of loans funds increases, and liquidity tightens, GE may be in trouble, and where does this put a fledgling venture like TSLA?

In hopes of an ever expanding pyramid of investors, a ship of fools continues to throw good after bad?

One with seasoning and experience knows with 100% certainty, that we are in an upside down, topsy turvy market ruled by a ship of fools (and that would be kind)...

Said seemingly ever rising of late market, is in a shit storm or maelstrom that will make the travails of the Andrea Gail, look like a Summer breeze.

The Perfect Storm? We haven't even begun to scratch the surface and are somehow reminded of this...

On that wavelength...

As our faithful readers well know, we warned about Red October in our October 2nd Nattering and followed up in detail with the Timing Is Everything? series.

We also rehashed three of our recent prescient warnings in A Little Shop Of Horrors?  If you have not, do feel free to catch up.

Stay tuned, no flippin, more to come in Begin The Benign?
