2018 NFL Week 16 Picks Against The Spread
Rather than Thursday's in the Loo, it's time for NFL Football picks in the toilet.... putting that seat or content down loading time to good use?
Of late, post week 13, we had whittled a 13 game deficit down to 2, and were seemingly "back on the block". Subsequently, a self inflicted case of NOT "taking care of business" plunged us six games back.
This week, unlike the Minutemen, Shags, Gurley Ewes, Jerry's Kids, Squawks and Ma-homes Chefs... and much like the Hey-LA Bosa Bolts, Riveters, Norsemen, Running Black Birds, Luck-y New Reich Colts and Mack Daddy Paddington's...
while "taking care of business" we managed to tilt 5-11, back to 9-7. Moving West...
Last week, we discovered as per the Boston Globe Ben Volin's totals were actually five games lower than advertised on a 3rd party site. This week, after 15 weeks and 224 games, as per CBS Jamey Eisenberg is the leader at 123-95-6. Not so fast Joe...
Upon further review, we discovered as per the Miami Herald, Greg Cote is 128-89-7. Greg wrote "Don’t wake me, please. Dreams like this don’t come around very often." No kidding, so I guess we finish outside?
Small World? Neither I, nor Greg is tracked by that 3rd party site, so we trust his count and the Miami Heralds posts.
Where in the world are we? With 2 weeks and 32 games to go we are at 119-103-2, and apparently need to make up 9 games. (Don't forget the 11 playoff games.) Moving West...
Since it seems like we are back on the right track, have nine lives, keep slippin the noose and turning up like a bad penny, this weeks theme?
Apropos we think. Shaking our head in utter disbelief... shall we continue to utilize a double headed wooden nickel in making our selections? Perhaps...
