More Tasty Non Farms Cake

We have previously commented on our growing Mc Job's Sharecropper Society.

A review of the "suicide squeeze" being put on John Q. peaked our curiousity. So we just concluded a peak at the latest official January BLS numbers and have an update to our
last Non Farms "fiasco" post.

Its seems a few jobs have actually been created over the last 5 years. How many you ask? Well, more or less about 200K net.

What?? How can this be? Non Farms Payroll has been over 200K running on two months now. Thats over 400K in just 2 months, how can you say only 200K jobs in 5 years?

Watch and read closely, for we are about to prove, the governments hand is quicker than the publics eye...

According to the BLS statistics, from Jan 2001 through Jan 2006, non seasonally adjusted non farm payrolls which includes all government and private sector jobs has increased from 130.433 million to 132.328 million.

Thats 1.895 Million new jobs created in 60 months. Sounds great huh?

Over the same period:

Government jobs increased from 20.753 Million to 21.724 Million, yielding 971,000 new Guvmint jobs. Divide 971,000 by 60 months you get 16183.33 jobs per month.

Private sector jobs increased from 109.680 Million to 110.604 Million yielding 924,000 new Private sector jobs. Divide 924,000 by 60 months you get 15400 jobs per month.

First the obvious, over 50% of the new jobs created are guvmint jobs. Next, the total new jobs of 1.895 Million divided by 60 months you get 31583.33 jobs per month.

Not even close to the advertised Non Farm numbers that the markets hang their hats on. And now for some tasty icing on this government propaganda shitcake called jobs creation...

Sorry to say, if you think 31.5K new jobs per month is dismal, and this "cake" tastes like crap, (and I do love to say this on occasion)it just gets worse. Lets wash down that cake with a little sour milk...

Non Seasonally Adjusted Total Unemployed 16 and over

End of Dec 2000 5.264 Million
Beg of Jan 2006 6.956 Million

Total increase in unemployment 1.692 Million over the same 60 month period.

Total net jobs created over the 60 month period:
1.895 Million Non Farm jobs minus 1.692 Million new unemployed = 203,000 net jobs, divided by 60 months = 3382.33 net jobs per month. Yum, yum, thats tasty cake aint it?

Its readily apparent why it seems like we take one step forward, two steps back in this so called "recovery". Job growth is just not there, and the types of jobs being created are low paying McJobs without benefits.

Whereas the jobs going away were decent paying with benefits. Now, which way did he go George? which way did he go?? BLS Data Link (Series ID CEU0000000001 + LNU03000000)
