A Dearth or Surfeit?

A friend: "I'm 62 now and have voted in every single election I was ever allowed to but lately I'm so disillusioned with them all it's down right depressing. We have two Grandsons 6 and 4 years old and we would like to leave a better world for them to live in but that's seeming more like just a dream lately. "

We Natter: And that's the sad part, the legacy we leave.

Did a quick calc, net worth Trump $4B; Clinton $111M; Sanders $460K.  Who is more likely to have similar interests to the 99%?  Due to the powers that be, for quite some time on our good ship lollipop, unfortunately the figurehead has been a whore in bed.

Our friend: "This is why democracy, even in the US, is a farce."

We Natter: A grand illusion and a mass delusion, all in one and one for all.

Our friend: "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it's natural manure " - Jefferson

We Natter: Normally, the manure runs downhill... the current problem is a dearth of patriotic (that which brings change and creates movement), has us neck deep in a surfeit of tyrannical (that which wallows in the mire of the status quo)...
