As to the latter, Reloc was being sarcastic and in our opinion, ironic. We Natter and muse.. Ever Dance With the Devil in the Pale Moonlight?
Money, corruption and the political bedfellows they make have price tags. In the case where the employing public entity made a bad agreement (onerous or one outside of common sense) with a union, this obviously needs to be corrected.
Unfortunately, common sense runs counter to government, corporate and monetary policy which is based in false doctrine.
Corporate policy eliminated private defined pension plans and outsourced our country's future.
Contractionary monetary policy crippled what remains of our emasculated economic base; has brought savers and pension plans to ruin; and rewarded debtors, bankster's and speculators.
As blood gets squeezed from the stone, when the hue and cry grows loud enough, through government policy, public defined pension plans and social security will be eliminated at the sheeple's behest.
Wall Street wants everyone in a 401K, more AUM fees, and you poor little sheeple can work till death do you part. Again, public elected officials made these pension plan agreements. Wanna dance?
Always the same divisive rhetoric and MSM narrative... maybe its the pensions, maybe its the unions, maybe its the immigrants, maybe its the LGBT's, maybe its the Non Christians.
One is reminded of what happened when someone said, maybe it's the Jews. Goebbel's would be proud of the hook in mouth MSM propaganda, and how easy it is to manipulate feeble minded sheeple.

Think corporate cannibals allowed to run wild under the guise of "globalization" and political vultures who feed on the flesh of their own people. At this sheeple buffet, too poor to pay attention and picked clean to the bone, comes to mind.
You can count 100% on this: under the guise of this divisive MSM narrative, aka the pension funding crisis agenda, there will be further service cuts, lower educational quality and higher taxes for all.
For those desiring the educational system and its end product dumbed down, poorly paid teachers are the order of the day. Why? Ignorant and apathetic sheeple are easier to herd, so expect more of the same.
Is all the above happenstance? Conspiracy theories abound. Does anyone think the ubiquitous "they" which have been entrusted with the peoples agency, have their constituents best interests in mind?
Entertaining either notion makes one either naive, an oblivious fool or both, while insulting the intelligence of those who know better and ignoring the stark reality of the situation.
Newsflash for the clueless and hard of hearing, actions or inaction speak louder than words and all one has to do is look at the glaring and obvious track record. What have you done for me lately? Response: next to nothing and in fact negative as in, one step forward, two back.
Including the recent elections, the same politicians you trusted, and their sponsors, have only fattened their portfolios, while selling you, your children, grand children and this country down the proverbial river, without a paddle.
Remember, the ubiquitous "they" who would sell their mothers and we would selectively demonize, did not set out to destroy the world, people did. Lazy, apathetic people did this by standing by and letting it happen.
To find those truly responsible, or the real criminals, look no further than your local cemetery and then take a long gaze at the man in the mirror, while letting out a long bleat.
No one, including "they", respects a group of insular and apathetic fools who have been openly lied to for decades and have taken it laying down aka John Q. Public. So why should anything change now?
