Flynn Rolls Over, Durak-Gate?

Unlike last week in being a day late, this week a day early?  Some things just can't wait..

Once again, not to be mistaken for Tuesday's With Morrie, it's Tuesdays With Trump...

Over at a financial forum...

1020 – Flynnpeachment????  :)

Rustle – President Trump's personal lawyer said Friday that former Trump national security advisor Michael Flynn's guilty plea implicates no one "other than Mr. Flynn."

The Nattering One muses...

I am sticking to my story as published on Feb. 12th, 2017… which was prior to all the other speculation by the so called pundits.

Indeed Flynn's plea implicates no one other than himself, that's probably part of the deal he cut for making such a small plea. The Devil is in the details...

On August 9, 2016, Flynn’s company, Flynn Intel Group (FIG), entered into a contract with Dutch company Inovo BV related to

improving U.S. business organizations’ confidence regarding doing business in Turkey, particularly with respect to the stability of Turkey and its suitability as a venue for investment and commercial activity.
At the time, FIG did not register under the Lobbying Disclosure Act or the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

On August 17, 2016, Flynn joined Trump for his first classified intelligence briefing at Trump Tower.

On November 30, 2016, internal Justice Department documents show that DOJ National Security Division officials contacted Flynn to raise concerns about his work on behalf of Inovo BV.

In early December 2016, Flynn and Jared Kushner reportedly met with Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak at Trump Tower.

On January 24, 2017, Flynn was reportedly interviewed by the FBI.  It is not clear whether he was truthful about the content of his conversations with Kislyak.

Had the acting AG Yates, not briefed White House council McGahn and POTUS on Jan 26th that Flynn was a risk, she probably would not have been terminated on Jan 30th, and Flynn would have been indicted long ago.

Yet, VP Pence says he first found out about Flynn's omission two weeks later on Feb 9th?

The day prior, in a February 8, 2017 interview with the WaPo, Flynn “categorically denied discussing sanctions” with Kislyak.

The next day February 9, 2017, the NYT, citing “current and former American officials,” reported that Flynn had indeed discussed sanctions and areas of possible cooperation with Kislyak during a late December call.

The officials reportedly described Flynn’s message to Kislyak as “unambiguous and highly inappropriate,” and said that the conversation “was only one in a series of contacts between the two men that began before the election.

Pulling an Uncle Ronny, later the same day, Flynn revised his account to the Post, saying through a spokesman that he “couldn’t be certain that the topic never came up.”

On Feb 12th, the Yates story breaks, and on Feb 13th Flynn resigns.  Due to an ongoing investigation, POTUS and White House council McGahn decided not to tell VP Pence?

Homey don't think so, because at least one other high ranking White House staff member, if not the whole administration and the free world knew. Speculation?

Interesting Codicil: Durak is a Russian card game, in which one can opt not to cut the deck by saying "Nye snimayu shapkee Doo-rah-kam" ("I do not tip my hat to idiots").

If I had the DOJ "recordings" of Flynn, I would release them, regardless of who got torched, trust me "comrades". I think Fearless leader has this transcript, you like?

More to come on that and more in Part 2.
