2018 NFL Week 2 Picks Against The Spread
Rather than Thursday's in the Loo, it's time for NFL Football picks in the toilet.... putting that seat or content down loading time to good use?
Last week our initial instinct was that these five teams were being underpriced: PHI PK; TB +10; MIA PK; CHI +7; NYJ +7. Our reason for flopping those picks?
Second guessing that the overpriced opponents: ATL; NO; TEN; GB; DET would somehow maintain or improve on last years "form". In the case of the only SU winner GB, a Mr. Rodger's comeback was needed.
Lesson learned? Once again: Trust your initial instincts, don't over think or induce paralysis by analysis.
Other lesson learned: Refrain from falling back into old behaviors and their traps. Much like our 13-2 opening last year, opening 12-3-1 would have been nice. C'est La Vie...
How did we fare against the 3 pros who chased us last year? Frank Schwab - Yahoo 8-6-2; Jacob Feldman (Albert Breer promoted and no longer picking) - MMQB/SI 7-8-1; Case Keefer 5-10-1; so we don't feel so bad.
FYI, last weeks #1 "pro" was Josh Katzowitz - Pickwatch 10-5-1. Now that's called getting out of the gate...
Shaking our head in utter disbelief while Moving West... shall we continue to utilize a double headed wooden nickel in making our selections? Perhaps...
That's life, that's what all the bookies say, you're ridin high pre game, shot down by late Sunday....

Although the line differs on occasion from the links above, try Jeff Sherman's Twitter feed, as the manager of the Westgate Super Book, he might just know a little sumpin.
For excellent insight, we recommend referring to Case Keefer at the Las Vegas Sun, as he knows a little sumpin, sumpin.

P.U!!! As expected, and don't say we didn't tell you so in advance....
"What are our expectations on how we will we fare this year? We know even less than we did last year, so with the odds stacked against us... horribly and TBD as to severity."
