Know Your Limitations?

Picking up from Timing Is Everything? - Part 10...

As early as October 10th, we had warned about the week of November 5th, amongst other dates,...
Watch for fluctuations around Nov 5th, Dec 10th and especially Jan 14th. Holidays, month end, quarter end, and year end will have passed. So why is the latter significant? Because that's the 3rd week of Jan. Part 5
followed by this....
If the bull wants to buck or break the direction or trend, this must be done to the upside with conviction. A failure can result in gravity and CON-fidence not being your friends. SP500 is currently stalled at 2736, which is .382 retrace. IMHO it could go further [downside] by sometime Monday, November 5th (a date which has been duly noted).  Part 9
In anticipation of November 5th, we were greeted with this comment....
LKJ4 - "Thank you Naybob for your updates! Since you are anticipating the big drop on Monday, what is your expectation - will we make a lower low? Another question - will you position for this down move today or will wait until Monday morning? Thank you again - greatly appreciate Salmo's and your posts." 02 Nov 2018, 02:08 PM
Our response.... Nov 3, 2018. 02:10 PM

LKJ4 - Please read B For Bob's excellent comment above regarding "advice".
I don't think any one is here to give real-time trading or investment services. Carefully read what people in this forum have to say. Explore the sources they cite. Use the guidance as a compliment to your own research and trading tools if you so wish. Sit back, be patient, and enjoy the wealth of knowledge. The puzzle is solved piece by piece. The Nattering One muses... as for positioning...

Perform your due diligence, intelligence and recon.  Know the target and its habits. Anticipate where the target will be and when. Wait patiently.

As the target moves into the cross hairs, be steady and firmly squeeze the trigger with conviction. If the target does not present as anticipated, or the unexpected occurs, never chase.

Leave your options open, always have a multitude of exit plans, and know your limitations. Not knowing the latter and attempts to chase lead to huge mistakes.
