2018 Annual Recap NFL Picks Against The Spread
Last year, we were NUMBER ONE on the web picking all NFL games against the spread (ATS), regular (146-103-7) and including playoffs we finished (151-108-8).
Drum roll please, once again, rather than Thursday's in the Loo, it's time for NFL Football picks in the toilet.... putting that seat or content down loading time to good use?
Recapping this years exploits in the land of the number...
Since Week 9, we vaporized a THIRTEEN game deficit to pass Boston Globe Ben Volin @ 139-117-11; NOLA.com Jim Derry @ 143-115-9; and CBS Jamey Eisenberg @ 145-115-7.
After Week 15, we discovered that we were NINE back of someone hidden under the ever shifting MSM "expert" tracking sand (much like moi). After 20 weeks and 267 games, as per the Miami Herald, Greg Cote finished 149-111-7.
Holding to last weeks Simply The Best theme we showed no fear in being contrarian by selecting the Rams over the Patriots. Can't win em all, and after going 7-4 in these playoffs, where in the world are we now?
Having passed the rest of the pack @ 147-118-2, in six weeks said nine game deficit was slashed to one and finishes at the number two, as we do. Kudos to Mr. Cote for being #1 ATS this year. We don't have a problem with not going back to back, why?
Our 2 year totals 298-226-10 in picking ALL 534 games against the spread surpasses all experts, touts, pundits, analysts, etc. and its not even remotely close. Following up on this season's weekly musical chase themes...
Reflecting not one, but two amazing comebacks from seemingly insurmountable deficits, an unparalleled two year record and the long and winding road involved... our final theme for this season?
Apropos we think, and for those who don't, take it from the composer...
That's life, that's what all the bookies say, you're ridin high pre game, shot down by late Sunday.... or
The long and winding road that leads to your door, will never disappear
I've seen that road before, it always leads me here, leads me to your door
Thanks for coming along for the ride. More to come next year? Stay tuned, no flippin and have a Happy Valentine's Day on the 'morrow.

It’s a sad song because it’s all about the unattainable; the door you never quite reach. This is the road that you never get to the end of. - Paul McCartneyShaking our head in utter disbelief... next season shall we continue to utilize a double headed wooden nickel in making our selections? Perhaps...
