Rising energy prices and higher interest rates will take a larger bite out of consumer spending and cause the US economy to slow later this year, a Bloomberg News survey of economists found.
We will hit a 2nd quarter soft patch, as rates go up and the dollar strengthens, oil will have a pullback. The pullback should take the muting effect off the economy and begin to unmask underlying growth.
