The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington D.C granted Vonage a permanent stay of a trail court's injunction in a patent infringement case with Verizon.
Vonage stressed that it remains highly confident in the strength of its appeal because the district court's decisions repeatedly neglected well-established law on claim construction.
Verizon took solace in the fact that the appeals court set an expedited schedule for the appeal, with a hearing scheduled for June 25.
