2018 NFL Week 17 Picks Against The Spread
Rather than Thursday's in the Loo, it's time for NFL Football picks in the toilet.... putting that seat or content down loading time to good use? Recapping our recent adventures in the land of the number...
Post week 13, we had whittled a 13 game deficit down to 2, and were seemingly "back on the block". Subsequently, a self inflicted case of NOT "taking care of business" plunged us 6 games back.
In Week 15 we corrected to 9-7 to shave our deficit to 4. In Week 16, we went "back in black" to hit 11-5 and have cut the deficit to ONE game. Where in the world are we?
This week, after 16 weeks and 240 games at 130-108-2, we have passed the Boston Globe's Mr. Volin at 125-105-10, and have pulled almost equal with CBS's Jamey Eisenberg at 131-102-7.
Lest we forget, we also discovered hidden under the MSM sand ... as per the Miami Herald, Greg Cote is 137-96-7. Greg writes of his Week 16 situation...
Along those lines... after clawing our way back from 13 games down since Week 9, just when you thought it was safe to get back in the water, you can't even make it past the sand?
This season, 16 games and then 11 playoff games remain, and we now look up from a 7 game deficit at Mr. Cote. Impossible to catch you say? In 1969, with 49 to play the Amazing Mets were 10 back, and finished 8 ahead.
It ain't over till it's over and being sworn to the number and loyal to none, we shall endeavor. Moving West... since it seems like its the thrill of the fight and we must rise up to the challenge, this weeks theme?
Apropos we think. Shaking our head in utter disbelief... shall we continue to utilize a double headed wooden nickel in making our selections? Perhaps...

A solid 9-7 ATS to carry the Magical Year Of Cote into the final week of the regular season. I mean, I hate to brag (no I don’t), but we have a chance to finish above .700 overall (SU) and we’re pushing .600 vs. the betting line (ATS) — both elite levels. It’s been a dream season.Last year, on our way to finishing the regular (146-103-7) and post season (151-108-8) as #1 ATS on the Web, post week 16 we were a lofty 135-98-7. So as we know very well, Mr. Cote is currently running at a blistering pace.
