COVID19: Is It Safe?

We've Nattered about crowded environments, transmission, seasonal flu numbers, mortality rates, imagined vs real, the backdraft of draconian measures, predicted "superspreader" events, pigs in a poke, monetary policy, preexisting conditions, a lack of global leadership, social habits, cultures, mutation, second hand stupidity, unknown known's and things that seemingly come out of the blue, all of which have "conspired" in many ways to allow a mischievous Jinn out of it's bottle. Unlike others, this was not to infer that COVID19 is much ado about nothing.

The catalyst or agent of change known as COVID19, is giving us front row seat insight as to the frailties of the human condition, psyche and less than robust socio economic systems. - 03/30 Viral Vectors?

As to calculation methods, at 0:40 "it's similar to the flu, we ALWAYS have 37 to 60K annual deaths from the flu every year in the US".  True quacking with the key being ANNUAL, note to self since March 1st, in sixty short days 70K have died or 10K more than in 365 days. Hmm? More quacking... coronavirus has a case fatality rate as low as 0.03 percent, or roughly 33% of the mortality rate of the common flu. YGTBFKM? 

Many Phd's (Piled High and Deep) are vacuous and MD's mentally deficient, especially those on TV who might equate pool deaths to COVID19, but these baby ducks obviously failed Math 101, and should have been accountants for Enron. A miserable failure of the sniff test and total debunking.  But that's not all you get if you act now, another revered "influencier" with cult like acolytes and 34M followers tweets  re: above... "Docs make good points".  Aside from that display of "genius", par for the course given tweet below in response to the "direction" of another...

It is pure half baked scientific "genius" to think we would bother to terraform a planet that was stripped of its atmosphere and irradiated to death billions of years ago. News flash, Mars cooled core no longer spins to provide magnetic protection (Van Allen Belts) from the solar wind and its radiation. Nothing's changed in 3.7 billion years and that's why its red and dead, so Think McFly!  No atmosphere can be maintained, no one could live on the surface, and one would have to live like a Morlock.  YGBFKM?

Sadder yet, when we could sorely utilize the money, time and effort on more pressing terrestrial matters, what geniuses want to squander it (we know who) on , much less sign up for what is a fools errand?  Only around 200K seemingly intelligent, educated and mostly "credentialed" did, go read the Mars One qualifications. Along those WTFWYT? lines, we subscribe to the panspermia theory put forward in 1963 by Tim O'Hara of the Los Angeles Sun (FYI - The West's Most Influential Paper).  Much like "down under", long ago a basket of deplorable prisoner DNA was shipped on a garbage scowl from Mars to Earth, which later mixed with the indigenous.  Empirical proof exists in the form of our penal colony populace mentality that indeed we are the long lost Martians. We Nattered on 03/10 Pig in A Poke about two primary strains and their virulence, so I'll raise Hendrik's extrapolations of much higher rates, with 14 mutated strains and one in particular being much more virulent with consequence for any vaccine effort...

None of those scientists or virologists at Los Alamos or the Universities of Duke, Sheffield and Bonn own a urgent care clinic or are quacking out non scientific bad math. Put it this way, would you bet your life on the two quacks cited above or any other imbecile  suggesting this is just the flu?  If so, I've got a one way ticket to Mars for you. In this case,  silencing the idiots doesn't really require censorship, because the dead don't talk. On that note...

Coming full circle from our opening narration and apropos title, we think... said insight reveals COVID19 to be a secondary infection of a more prevalent virus, whose intelligence walks hand in hand with its hubris and idiocy. Viruses mutate to a "new normal" for better and or worse. Hopefully the far deadlier virus will learn from this test, albeit at great expense.  

Answering Trebek's original query: What is a scraped tablet aka clean slate, a mind with no empirical knowledge; complete naivete or mental blankness.  In any event, change is a constant, nothing will ever be the same, and the wheel in the sky keeps on turning.
